He received his Ph.D. in Systematic Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (SBTS). He also received a B.A. from Boyce College and an M.Div. and ThM at SBTS. He's been married to Patsy since 2007, and they have 4 beautiful children, 2 daughters (Ana & Malia) and 2 sons (Danny & John). He wrote his dissertation under Stephen Wellum on the pactum salutis (covenant of redemption), showing its consistency with classical Trinitarianism. In addition to his ministry to the local church, he serves the broader church as adjunct professor of systematic theology at SBTS, International Reformed Baptist Seminary (IRBS), and Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary (CBTS), and serves as a ThM Advisor for CBTS. Daniel's prayer is that God will cause him to be of some use to his church by helping Christians to think deeply about their faith and what it means to live out of that depth.
